About pairing the device
If you are connecting your Nokia device to the computer via Bluetooth for the first time, you need to pair the devices. Pairing means that you code two Bluetooth devices (here, a mobile device and a computer) to communicate so they can exchange data. Pairing is done by using a passcode. You can use the random passcode generated by Nokia Ovi Suite. The passcode is used only once and you do not need to memorize it.
When you activate Bluetooth for the first time on your mobile device, you may be asked to give a name to your device depending on the device model you are using. This name will be used whenever you pair your device and the computer, and it can also been seen by other Bluetooth device users.
